Way Too Cold!

I am finally back in the house this morning. I had chickens to sell to a man from Milwaukee. He frequently calls to see if I have any roosers for sale. I heard of some and picked them up yesterday. Dumb me--told him that they were 6 bucks each. I paid 5 for them. Then I calculated and only sold them for 5! I swear I have a brain problem when it comes to money sometimes! So, I did all this work and made no money...actuall I will have to pay some out--he didn't want some of the birds because they were too small! So now I have more birds to feed and I have to pay for them anyhow! Oh brother...I am disgusted!

Well it is so cold out today -11, I certainly do not want to do anything outside! Toilet is frozen again--not unusual. At least my feet are thawing out and the puppies are asleep. I need to go and clean their pen so they can mess it up again. Work and more work...

Happy New Year!

Well, went back to work today after too many days off. Actually everyone went back yesterday and I sat on my ass all day and just enjoyed the quiet! So today it was my turn to go back. Long day...tonight I get home and one of my client's sisters calls. Her snow shoveling guy has committed suicide! I cannhardly believe this news...I am still reeling! He was a 30 something guy that shoveled for her and did her grass in summer. I never met the man but my client totally adored him. Her sis ter and I decided that it would be too mych for her to knw what he did so we decide not to tell her. I contact all the people that she might talk to and tell them. Them sis calls back and says that HER husband thinks we should tell her because she has a right to know. No matter that it might send her into a tailspin and give her another stroke! I say that I have some time tomorrow and I will go there and tell her that the man is dead; maybe a heart attack or an accident, I am not sure of the details. I am glad that I don't really have to lie (that much) always seems that you get caught in the end anyhow! I sure am ooking forward to going to work tomorrow!
